"Three Drops of Blood" consists of eleven short stories dealing with the different planes of insanity, by Sadegh Hedayat. In addition to people who are already institutionalized as mad or mentally sick, "Three Drops of Blood" depicts other lives that have been destroyed by sick suspicious, obsessive behaviors and other forms of disguised madness. Hedayat observes and narrates these forms of insanity in all strata of society he lives in.
